Within the scope of "Campus at the Factory" activities organised by Human Resources Department of Sumitomo Rubber AKO, Middle East Technical University, Hacettepe University and Ankara University career centre officials and engineering department’s faculty members were hosted in October. Within the scope of the event, the lecturers were informed with a factory presentation and information was given about the processes in the production facility. Human Resources Manager Ulviye Aliyeva informed them about the company's recruitment policies, internship programmes, employee rights and career development.
In these events that held separately with each university, future collaborations, opportunities that can be provided to students, internship processes, recruitment processes and special opportunities that can be provided to Sumitomo Rubber AKO’s employees by the universities were discussed.
The university officials stated that they would be happy for their students to do internships at Sumitomo Rubber AKO in 2022-2023 due to receiving positive and encouraging feedbacks from their students who participated in the new internship programme implemented by the Human Resources Department in the 2021-2022 academic year. Expressing their satisfaction with this event, the faculty members stated that they will convey the information they have gained about Sumitomo Rubber AKO to their students and guide them on internship and job applications.
