Bolu Governorship and Bolu Abant İzzet Baysal University as the host and with the coordination of Public Relations Office of the Presidency, West Blacksea Career Fair (BATIKAF) has been executed in March 25th-26th. Bolu Abant İzzet Baysal University having the lead, with the cooperation of 16 partner universities, public foundations, institutions and trade associations, this fair is known for being the biggest career fair executed in West Blacksea region.
Students and representatives of business world and public institutions have met in the fair. Students gained knowledge about business world by joining the panel discussions and interviews.
In this 2 days long fair, Sumitomo Rubber AKO also set up a booth. Along with Human Resources Department – Recruitment Team, senior executives of Sumitomo Rubber AKO also joined the fair to meet with students who take their first steps to the journey of their career. During the fair, sincere dialogues of Japanese executives notably caught the guests’ attention. Executives were pretty amazed by the students’ interest in tire production process and technology.
Students from Engineering and International Relations Departments who showed significant interest in Sumitomo’s booth, got information about strategic and potential jobs from the authorities. Human Resources experts made detailed explanations to their future colleagues about recruitment and business life.
