Kars Sarıkamış Rally, the first race of the Oyman Atabay 2024 season organized by the Turkish Automobile Sports Federation (TOSFED), was held between February 23-25. The rally excitement, which started with the start ceremony held in front of Kars Castle at 17.30 on Friday, February 23, ended with the closing ceremony at Duja Chalet Hotel on Sunday, February 25.
Falken Drift Team pilots Abbas Çimen and Örge Pamukçu took part in the opening ceremony with 560hp driftcar Subaru BRZ, which belongs to the duo of Abbas Çimen and Örge Pamukçu, and received the appreciation of the audience. Before the stages on the 2nd day of Sarıkamış Rally, Falken Drift Team pilot Abbas Çimen organized a special show for Kars Governor Ziya Polat, TOSFED President Eren Üçlertoprağı and the accompanying delegation and gave them a drift taxi experience.
Sumitomo Rubber AKO Turkey Sales Director Mustafa Hamdi Seyhan congratulated the Falken Drift team for taking part in such an organization and stated that "Sarıkamış Rally will be organized in the coming years and turn into an international race".
Sarıkamış Rally, Turkey's first and only winter rally, is 1 of the 4 snow rallies in Europe and 1 of the 4 snow rallies above 2000 meters in the world.
